tenerife golf courses guide

Tenerife is an excellent destination for golf lovers. Despite being a relatively small island, Tenerife offers a surprisingly diverse range of golf courses. Apart from the differences in the design and layout of each course, the island's varied terrain and different microclimates create noticeable differences between the courses, particularly between those located in the north and those in the south.
At Golfing Tenerife, we will try to explain the particular characteristics of each course so that you can get as accurate an idea as possible of what to expect when playing golf in Tenerife.

This Tenerife golf courses guide is not intended to rank the courses from best to worst. First of all, if we asked 20 golfers to create their own ranking, we would probably end up with 20 different lists. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, we believe that all the golf courses on the island have something special to offer.
If you have enough time during your stay, we would recommend playing as many of them as possible — ideally all of them.

Our aim is therefore to provide you with enough information to help you decide which golf course best suits your tastes, preferences and level of play, so that you can enjoy the best possible golfing experience during your stay in Tenerife.

In the following menu, you will find a link to each of the golf courses in Tenerife, as well as to Tecina Golf on the neighbouring island of La Gomera. For each course, we provide useful information about its design, layout, specific characteristics and particular features, together with details about the local climate and current green fees.
